Arguably one of the most mysterious individuals of the 20th century, Vivian Maier was a hobbyist street photographer whose work was discovered by accident. She was a nanny by day, and photographed the environments that she experienced, but kept her images hidden from the world. Her entire collection of undeveloped work was discovered in a storage garage in 2007, and it wasn't until then did the world see the talent that she possessed. She did not gain any recognition while she was alive, as she passed in 2009.
This book was created to highlight Maier's entire collection of work and her impact on the realm of street photography. All photography by Vivian Maier, text referenced from multiple sources, design by Hana Iqbal. Not for sale.
